AFC Crewe win 4-2 on penalties to advance to the next round!

Now the curtain has closed on the 2024/25 season for our men’s and women’s teams, the Club can now confirm the players who will be departing. 

From our Men’s team, Joe Jones, Aiden Brown, George Taylor-Fletcher, Jacob Brooks and Daniel Millington will be leaving the club. 

Joe Jones leaves to take up a scholarship in the US as of this summer. We wish him well state-side and he's welcome back any time. 

Aiden Brown departs after scoring 20 goals for the Club across the last two seasons, playing a key part in last year's double success.

George Taylor-Fletcher's first season in men's football has been a resounding success, and we look forward to what he does next in the game! We're sure we'll be seeing his name around the Football League in years to come. Huge thanks, too, for playing through injury for many months of the season to fight for the cause.

Jacob had already agreed to join Burscough Town closer to home, while Daniel departs after half a season with the club. 

Massive thanks to all for their contribution this season!


AFC Crewe announce men's departures for 2024/25

AFC Crewe is delighted to appoint Keiran Mear as the new men's first team manager.

Keiran brings a wealth of experience at this level and won the board members' vote to appoint him, gaining a whopping 85% of votes following an impressive interview.

Mike Donnelly will also be joining AFC Crewe as men's first team assistant manager alongside our new manager

We can't wait to see what the future holds with Keiran and his team at the helm. We go again in 2025/26.
